CampVision is a volunteer-driven movement that started with a three-day camp for underprivileged, at-risk youths in Singapore to become leaders in their lives 7 years ago. Although not a registered entity, CampVision is endorsed and supported by Southeast Community Development Council, and has not only sustained its efforts to serve the community, but also expanded them tremendously to include various follow-up initiatives and programmes to benefit the youths. Now, CampVision has touched the lives of more than 600 youths from more than 16 different voluntary welfare organisations (VWOs).
Expedition Agape 2010 is our second expedition to develop and empower youths and volunteers through being "Leaders in Action". Through the 6-months programme, the youths will be mentored and undergo a series of purposeful activities to develop positive principles and habits, as well as to learn valuable skill sets by organising and participating in fundraising, programme-planning activities for the overseas expedition. Expanding their horizons with a different way of life and culture, the entire expedition journey is the ground for the youths to action on and soar further with empowerment and personal growth.
